KOVA Advisory was built on real construction experience and shaped by years of operating inside active projects across residential and light commercial environments.
Before transitioning into advisory, KOVA’s leadership operated as a general contractor, builder, and owner’s representative. These roles provided direct exposure to the realities of construction execution, including:
• Project budgeting and cost control
• Trade coordination and sequencing
• Scope development and contractor oversight
• Managing expectations in live construction environments
This experience was earned in the field not in theory.
Over time, it became clear that the most consequential decisions in construction are made before ground is broken.
Scope assumptions, contractor alignment, financial structuring, and sequencing strategy often determine project outcomes long before execution begins.
KOVA was created to operate at that decision-making layer, and bringing structured review. Guided by principal-level insight to complex construction and development plans before they move forward.
KOVA operates independently of construction execution.
That independence allows for candid guidance, early risk identification, and thoughtful alignment between clients and experienced professionals when appropriate.
